I really enjoyed reading your post. I can relate very closely to everything you&#039;ve mentioned as to the rigours of doing a PhD - almost never having time off, making not-much-money go a long way and the uncertainties that accompany jobhunting afterwards. Most of all though I relate to the sheer joy and excitement of it; I came out the other side of the process not too long ago, and just wanted to add my voice to the yea-sayers : ).
