Sapporo Snow Festival
Last week, I, along with about 2 million others, descended on Odori Park in Sapporo to see some snowy statues. Sapporo’s Snow Festival is one of Japan’s largest annual events, and certainly its coldest event.

Back to England
Apparently, no one believed Marco Polo’s incredible tales of China upon his return to Italy. I wonder if the same thing will happen to me. Yes, I’m going back to England.
End of the English term
This week has probably been the last week of work in 2009 for many English teachers. The end of a term (or semester) always brings a bit of extra work, followed by a welcome period of rest.
