Finland is Nordic rather than Scandinavian; they seem themselves as subtly different to Scandinavia. It is an egalitarian society but with an emphasis on polite behaviour.
Greeting is done by formal handshake with eye contact. It is customary to repeat your first name and surname while shaking hands. Business clothing is formal but stylish with suits expected for both genders.
Finns are transactional business colleagues, so they do not need to spend a long time on small talk or socialising. Face to face meetings are not always necessary because they are comfortable using email. However, if you are invited to attend a sauna, it is important not to turn this down as Finns will take offence.
Finns will expect you to be very punctual and will encourage you to deliver a presentation without intervening with questions. Business cards may be exchanged, but without ritual.
