Environmental Ecological Economist

We are seeking an economist with experience and interest in water resource management to join an interdisciplinary team. Working closely with water scientists and economists and other social scientists in the institute, you will be expected to address economic dimensions of flooding and droughts and water quality and quantity issues in ways that address policy and practical challenges in a theoretically robust manner.

The ideal candidate will possess a PhD or equivalent in Environmental or Ecological Economics, or in a related discipline. He/she will have strong understanding of cost-effectiveness, cost-benefit, multi-criteria analysis and modelling skills relevant to the water resource management, along with an ability to communicate with a range of stakeholders. He/she will participate in multi-disciplinary projects and lead a vision for the exchange of knowledge at the science policy interface.

Starting salary within the range £26,610 - £29,566 per annum with excellent employee benefits.
