Applications are invited from outstanding individuals for the Sir Harry and Lady Djanogly Chair in Sustainable Energy in the Energy Technologies Research Institute at The University of Nottingham.

The successful candidate will have a proven research record of international quality in an area of sustainable energy which may include renewable energy technologies, energy storage, low-energy buildings, zero-emission power plant, future electrical grids and life-cycle analysis. They should also have a record of inter- and multidisciplinary collaboration. Strong industrial contacts are also highly desirable.

Candidates should have an exemplary publication record, together with the ability to develop, and manage large projects. They should be proven leaders, with the capability to produce and implement multidisciplinary research strategies. The successful candidate will be supported in the establishment of their field of research at the University of Nottingham.

Salary will be within the Professorial range.
