MA Bursaries Competition 2010-11

Department of Politics
Faculty of Arts and Human Sciences

The Department welcomes applications for MA bursaries for the Academic Year 2010-11 to undertake postgraduate studies on one of our four MA programmes.

We can offer up to four bursaries, each of between £1000 and £3000, towards tuition fees for high achieving students in the area of politics, international relations, international/European studies and social sciences.

Our department offers a range of interesting and exciting programmes in International Politics, European Politics, and European & International Politics that reflect the research interests of the department. Detailed information about our programmes is available on our website.

We also are able to offer a pioneering programme in European Politics, Business and Law that provides a unique opportunity to gain insights into the practical application of European integration. Placements may be available for students on this particular course.

The deadline for the submission of applications is 26 March 2010. Application forms and instructions are available on our website. Please note that there is no separate application form for the bursaries; all applications received by the deadline will be considered for an award.

Shortlisted candidates will be expected to attend interviews at the University of Surrey on 29 April 2010.

Queries about the programmes and the bursaries should be directed to Dr. Rachel Brooks (r.brooks@surrey.ac.uk)
