A level Teacher - Physics/Maths – based in Nanjing, China

Salary £21,924 to £26,931 (including accommodation, flights plus other benefits)
Full time permanent post

Barnsley College has formed a partnership with Jingling High School and Sinocampus Education Services in which we have opened a new A-level provision in Nanjing, China.

Hosted on Jingling High School campus, there are 40 students beginning a three year A- level programme this year and delivery of AS courses which started in September 2014. We anticipate that the project will grow to include A Level delivery in locations across China.

Barnsley College is seeking to recruit a Teacher to deliver A-levels at our newly established Sixth Form in Nanjing, China. With an immediate start possible, the school is due to restart on September 1st 2015.

We are seeking people with a sense of adventure, motivated to working hard and making this project a success. You don’t need to have extensive teaching experience but you will have a PGCE along with 2 years’ experience in a UK educational setting.

In return you will receive free accommodation, health insurance and flights to and from the UK, along with generous annual leave entitlement and access to the Teachers’ Pension Scheme.
