Academic Assessors – Chevening Reading Committees

We are seeking Academic Assessors to participate in the 2017/18 Chevening reading committees. Do you have experience in assessing applications for entry to a UK post-graduate programme? Do you want to be involved in the selection of the world’s future leaders? If so, you could play a crucial part in the selection of future Chevening scholars and fellows.

The Chevening programme is the UK government’s global scholarship programme, funded by the Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO) and partner organisations. Offered in over 160 countries and territories (excluding the EU and USA), the programme grants awards to outstanding scholars and fellows with demonstrable leadership potential and a commitment to creating positive change in their home country.

Reading committees play a vital part in the selection of Chevening scholars and fellows. They are an independent panel of experts comprising of two members; an Academic Assessor and a Regional Assessor.
