The post holder will provide University-wide leadership to grow and develop the institutional capacity for engagement with Europe across a broad spectrum of activities. Responsible for providing strong leadership on European initiatives, through high level strategic guidance, coordination and advice, the post holder will ensure that the University’s European activities contribute to the targets outlined in The Way Forward.

Head of Innovation System and Engagement
Salary is negotiable depending on experience
The post holder will be responsible for the strategic advancement and leadership of the Cardiff University Innovation System, helping to position the University for future success as outlined in The Way Forward.

Head of Marketing
Salary Details: Grade 8 (£47,328 - £54,841)
The post holder will develop and direct a marketing and branding strategy in support of the University’s ambitions, as expressed in The Way Forward, providing guidance and support, and leading projects within this area. This includes working with student recruitment and admissions teams across the University to develop individual targeted market-based strategies for UK, EU and international markets.

Innovation Communications Manager
Salary Details: Grade 7 (£39,685 - £45,954)
The post holder will devise a communications strategy to clearly communicate the University’s objectives and developments around innovation and enterprise, which will have impact internally and externally.

Research Communications Manager
Salary Details: Grade 7 (£39,685 - £45,954)
The post holder will support the University to raise the profile of our research excellence to local, national and international audiences, providing advice, guidance and support, and leading projects within this area.

Academic Registrar
Salary is negotiable depending on experience
To provide strategic leadership and development of the support structure for the University’s student life cycle, ensuring the provision of professional, customer focused services in support of the University’s strategic priorities as set out in The Way Forward from recruitment through to graduation, including the Library Service. The post holder will be a major contributor to the University’s educational strategy, specifically as it relates to the development and delivery of student services throughout the student life cycle.

Director of HR
Salary is negotiable depending on experience
The post holder will advise and lead on the implementation of effective HR strategies to enable the University to meet and sustain its vision as outlined in The Way Forward and provide effective leadership and management to the HR department, ensuring that the services provided are relevant, customer focused and professionally delivered.

Director of Strategic Planning and Governance

The post holder will advise and lead on the implementation of effective strategic planning and governance to enable the University to meet and sustain its vision as outlined in The Way Forward. They will provide effective leadership and management to the Strategic Planning and Governance department, overseeing the provision of high quality planning, business intelligence and governance support.

Head of Alumni Relations and Supporter Engagement
Salary Details: Grade 8 (£47,328 - £54,841)
The post holder will develop and direct an alumni relations and donor engagement strategy in support of the University’s ambitions, as expressed in The Way Forward. Leading projects within this area the post holder will build and strengthen life-long relationships with Cardiff alumni and supporters worldwide for mutual benefit.
