Keele University is pleased to announce a major investment in its Postgraduate research environment across the Humanities and Social Sciences, in partnership with the AHRC and the ESRC.

We are offering studentships that are fully funded, either by the AHRC, ESRC, or the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences. Please see the links below for details.

The Faculty has a vibrant research community of over 200 academic staff and 300 postgraduate research students, working within, and in some cases across, dedicated Research Centres and Schools. Please visit our web pages to explore information about our current research staff and students, as a showcase of the best of our research projects, publications and other outcomes, and for examples of how we put our knowledge to work for the benefit of society.

In 2018, Keele is launching a major new initiative, the Institute for Social Inclusion. The Institute will be bring together researchers from across the Arts, Humanities, Social Sciences and other disciplines, to carry out excellent research which aims to promote egalitarian respect and to understand and remove the barriers to social inclusion.

We are proud of our diverse and supportive research culture, and so if you are considering undertaking PhD study, we invite you to apply to join our growing postgraduate research community.
