Four Full-Time Funded Postgraduate Research Opportunities
University Of Leicester - School Of Management
The School of Management is pleased to offer four fully-funded postgraduate research opportunities from 29th April 2013. Closing Date for Applications: 11th January 2013. Interviews are expected to be held in February.
Our PhD programme is distinctive because it is firmly located within a broadly defined social science tradition. Our students draw on anthropology, cultural studies, economics, sociology, politics and psychology amongst other disciplines in undertaking their research. The programme also emphasises philosophy and theoretically informed research. Moreover, at the School of Management we are specifically interested in critical social science. This means that our research seeks to understand and to explain the world - but, beyond that, we have a clear sense that this is not the best of all possible worlds, and that our research might contribute to informed choices about how the world could be changed.
You may apply for only one of these awards. On the application form please write clearly which award you are interested in.
