Liverpool Hope University

Liverpool Hope University is a vibrant community of scholars, students and support staff. We are proud of our past, confident in our present and ambitious for our future. With a history extending over 170 years, Liverpool Hope has developed a distinctive ethos which brings together scholarship, research and teaching.

Evidence of our commitment to a research-informed agenda can be seen in our Research Excellence Framework 2014 results and the very high percentage of staff submitting work. 44% of research outputs submitted across our three Faculties were classified as 4* (World Leading) or 3* (Internationally Excellent). Our academic staff are all research active, ensuring our students benefit from University’s research projects.

Our equal commitment to developing a learning community places scholars and students at the heart of the system and is evidenced by our high investment in quality facilities. Work is currently underway on a £13.5m new Science and Sports development at our Hope Park Campus. Phase I facilities will include bio-medical and sports science laboratories, psychology laboratories and computer suites for electronic engineering and robotics.

During the past two years over 100 new academics have been appointed and, as a sign of our confidence in recruitment for 2015/16, we are now seeking to fill a number of new positions across the University.

If the level of your personal ambition matches that of our University and you are an active researcher, a committed teacher and an excellent team player, we would be delighted to hear from you.
