We have two exciting senior posts within the University’s Executive Team, based in Preston.
Founded in 1828, the University of Central Lancashire in the city of Preston is a large, dynamic university with a learning community approaching 38,000.
Our mission - to help talented people from all walks of life to make the most of their potential - was highlighted when the University achieved IIP Gold status in 2014.
The new Vice-Chancellor, Professor Mike Thomas, is looking to appoint a Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Corporate Planning and International Strategy) and a Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic) to help strengthen the University’s Executive Team.
These key senior roles will work closely with other senior colleagues at the institution to help shape, develop and deliver UCLan’s strategic aims, delivery plans and key objectives and to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the University.
This is an exciting time to join the University as UCLan’s vision over the next 10 years is to create a unified, sustainable and welcoming campus which will enhance the experience for all those visiting the University. Over the 10-year lifespan of the Campus Masterplan project we anticipate investing £200 million, helping to create jobs, kick-start regeneration and attract inward investment into the city.
