School of Art and Design
As one of eight academic Schools within the University of Gloucestershire, the School of Art and Design offers a broad portfolio of courses across its three academic subject communities of Art, Design and Photography.
At the heart of the vibrant cultural and creative scene in Cheltenham, the School offers a breadth of subjects from Fine Art to Photography, Fashion Design to Landscape Architecture. From 2018, our Design community will be moving to a new and exciting space at our Park campus in Cheltenham providing the School with a presence across all of the Cheltenham campuses.
Having significant growth in undergraduate, postgraduate and international student size over a 3 year period, the School now wants to extend that ambition through to its international presence and is actively developing partnerships in Hong Kong, Malaysia, China and Vietnam.
In addition to its undergraduate offer, the school also offers exciting opportunities in both postgraduate teaching and research, with a growing research culture.
Successful candidates will join a busy and vibrant academic community engaged in numerous areas of practice, theory, (and curation), at all levels of study.
The University of Gloucestershire is committed to equality and embraces diversity in our working, learning, research and teaching environments. We are committed to providing a supportive and flexible working environment.
