Professorship of Psychology
University of Oxford - Department of Experimental Psychology in association with Magdalen College
The University of Oxford intends to make an appointment to the Professorship of Psychology in the Department of Experimental Psychology, Medical Sciences Division, from 1 October 2010, or as soon as possible thereafter. The Professorship is associated with a Fellowship at Magdalen College.
The Professor will be expected to play a major role in the research activity of the department, to undertake original work, and to be responsible for the general supervision of research and advanced work in the department. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate an outstanding record of research achievement, the ability to obtain substantial external grant support and have the vision and personal qualities to provide research leadership within, and beyond, the department.
