Lecturer in Farm Animal Clinical Skills

An exciting new position is available for an enthusiastic veterinary colleague to join a dynamic team within the Division of Livestock Health and Welfare. The position is to undertake the development and teaching of farm animal clinical skills to undergraduate veterinary students. 50% of the post will be small group teaching during the clinical rotations in years 4 and 5, with the remainder of the time allocated to developing and delivering clinical skills teaching, across species, in earlier years, within the Veterinary School Clinical Skills Development Group.

The position is ideally suited to a veterinary surgeon who has a background in farm animal clinical practice and who is looking for a career in veterinary education. You must possess a veterinary degree, be registered as MRCVS and have relevant experience in mixed/farm animal clinical practice. Prior experience in teaching and an aptitude for IT are also desirable.
