Full Time: The appointment will be on UCL Grade 8. The salary range will be £40,216 - £47,441 per annum, inclusive of London Allowance.
We are seeking a Molecular/Cellular Biologist with an established track record of internationally competitive research for a full time academic position as Lecturer/Senior Clinical Biomedical Scientist in the Katharine Dormandy Haemophilia Centre & Thrombosis unit. The appointee will complement and strengthen our broad range of interest in Haemostasis research.
The Katharine Dormandy Haemophilia Centre is internationally renowned for cutting edge translational research in the field of Haemostasis. This centre pioneered the purification and cloning of the factor VIII gene, which led to the highly effective and safe treatments available to haemophilia sufferers today.
The successful candidate will develop a programme of high quality research in haemostasis and gene therapy as well as contributing to haemostasis training (including the development of an MSc training program).
The successful candidate must hold a PhD, or equivalent in a relevant subject. The successful candidate must have substantial post registration experience of working in a research environment with a particular interest in haemostasis, cellular and/or molecular biology.
