Part-time, 3 days a week

Full-time equivalent salary:  £40,000 per annum

The School of Psychotherapy and Counselling Psychology seeks to employ a part-time Research Coordinator and Senior Lecturer. The postholder will direct, implement, plan ahead and manage the research components of the School’s Professional Doctorates in Counselling Psychology within the strategic and budgetary objectives of the programmes. This involves managerial, coordination, and administrative tasks. The role also involves lecturing in the general area of counselling psychology, psychotherapy and research methods at a doctoral level and the supervision of trainees’ theses.

The ideal candidate will possess a Doctorate degree in psychology or psychotherapy with membership of the HPC, BPS and/or UKCP. Experience of teaching at a doctoral level is essential as well as experience in research supervision and marking of doctoral level theses to completion.

We anticipate that the successful candidate will start in September 2013. 

At interview, candidates will be required to give a short presentation.
