Reporting to the Vice-Chancellor, you will be a member of the Senior Executive Team and have the support of a collaborative and focussed group of colleagues. 2016 will see the 50th anniversary of the University and by then you will have played a pivotal role in building and implementing a fundraising strategy that will capitalise on this event. You will develop the capacity of the University to deliver an exciting and creative anniversary campaign and lead the Development and Alumni Relations team in making a step-change in philanthropic income.
The successful candidate will be a talented, experienced and well rounded fundraising professional with the stature to provide leadership on development activities throughout the University. We will be seeking evidence of a successful track record in developing and delivering major campaigns, securing major gifts and the experience to build a first class development operation which delivers substantial results. A motivational leader, you will have the communication skills to inspire others both within and outside the organisation. You will ideally have experience of working in an educational environment and be a passionate believer in the capacity of education to change lives and make a difference to the world.
