Grade 9: £43,312 - £50,186 with a discretionary range to £54,826 p.a.
We are looking for a Head of Operations and Development who will work with the Executive Director of the World Wide Antimalarial Resistance Network (WWARN) to implement successful business operations and strategies to shape the organisation and its future activities. You will be responsible for the finance, communications, project management, fundraising and legal aspects of WWARN. Travel to WWARN's regional centres will be necessary.
You will have a postgraduate management qualification and experience of leading and managing staff. You will have excellent communication skills with the ability to interact productively with service providers in the UK and overseas. Proven experience of successful business leadership and developing financial strategies is essential. Experience of working in a developing country would be an advantage.
This is a fixed-term post available until 31 December 2013 to cover a period of maternity leave.
