Professor, Associate Professor or Assistant Professor

The British University in Dubai (BUiD), a vibrant, diverse and not-for-profit university was established by a Royal Decree in May 2003. It now has over 500 postgraduate students on 12 Masters and two doctoral programmes, all of which are accredited by the UAE Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research. The programmes offered are aimed at experienced professionals. The innovative teaching and quality of research are recognised at national and international level in addition to BUiD building a sound reputation in community engagement.

BUiD’s Faculty of Education offers Doctoral and Masters programmes in the fields of Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages, Management Leadership and Policy, Special and Inclusive Education, Information and Communications Technology, and Science Education. The Faculty of Education is a significant provider of teacher education and research in the region and has an outstanding reputation of partnership with schools, and private and federal organisations. Applicants must have a PhD with a proven track record of teaching at postgraduate level and preferably at doctorate level. They should also have a good record of research publication with the ability to develop internal and external research collaborations. Experience of securing funding from diverse research funding bodies is desirable.
