An exciting opportunity has arisen for the appointment of a Research Associate in the Department of Media and Communication to work on the ESRC funded project ‘Chronic illness and online networking: expectations, assumptions, and everyday realities’. We are looking for a researcher with a strong interest in the multifaceted relationships between digital media and the society and an understanding of the theoretical and methodological issues involved. The project requires excellent communication, organisational and time management skills, as well as ability to work independently and contribute to professional and academic publications
