About the role:
The Faculty of Health, Social Care and Education provides a modern, comprehensive service in support of teaching, learning and research, blending the provision of traditional services with a flexible and innovative approach to service delivery.
As a professionally qualified registered social worker, you will make a substantial contribution to our social work programmes. You will be required to teach on qualifying and post-qualifying social work courses at degree and masters levels. You will be expected to contribute to modules which enhance the continuing professional development of social work professionals, as well as developing your own specialisms. You will have knowledge of workforce development issues and the requirements of stakeholders, as well as a commitment to high quality social work education and practice.
Ideally with a PhD or Professional Doctorate, you will be research active and have the potential to carry out research and/or scholarly activity.
