Pre-sessional EAP Associate Lecturers

Reference Number: PSE/6 (6 week course), ELAC/2 (2 week course)
Salary: Hourly pay rate of £39.53 (including teaching, preparation and marking). Induction and other non-teaching activity is paid at half the hourly rate (£19.76).
The Centre for English Language and Academic Skills (CELAS) is seeking experienced EAP teachers for the summer Pre-sessional English Language and Academic Skills courses. You will teach up to 22.5 hours per week. There will be a compulsory induction of 2 days for the 6 week course and a 1 day induction for the 2 week course. The inductions will be paid at half rate.
You should have a TEFL Diploma or MA TEFL/Applied Linguistics and preferably some experience of teaching academic skills in a higher educational context. In addition, experience of teaching students progressing to business degrees is an advantage.
