The Edinburgh Institute delivers business services and partnership on behalf of the Business School at Edinburgh Napier University.  It is Scotland’s leading provider of practice-based learning, delivered by senior Academics working in partnership with trusted external Associates.

Under its new Director, the EI has embarked on a strategy of growth in influence, partnership and profitability.  The Head of Customer Development is responsible for the Institute’s business development, marketing and client relationship management programmes across a wide range of products and services.   This is a leading management role within a fast-paced business environment, where the focus is on delivering growth for our clients and customers.

You will lead a team promoting and delivering the Institute’s services to clients, with direct responsibility for our network of Associates.   Accordingly you will be experienced in a management role in a business environment and possess a business-related degree or equivalent, complementing a track-record of evident achievement in a commercial discipline. You will also have experience, or knowledge, of the marketplace for executive education in a university context and possess the enthusiasm, capability and knowledge to deliver the EI’s vision.  You will be trusted, respected and recognised in your field, with a wide range of influential contacts in the business and academic community.
