You will have the demonstrated ability to develop curriculum, plan and teach graphic design and illustration at university level. It is essential that you are able to evidence your scholarship with research outputs that will contribute to the intellectual life of the school and the research environment. We would particularly welcome applications from candidates with expertise in emerging digital technologies along with professional experience in traditional graphic arts.
Graphic Design and Illustration at Liverpool School of Art and Design is a diverse graphic arts and visual communication degree course covering graphic design, illustration, motion graphics, interactive design, printmaking, photography, bookmaking and animation. The course is built upon a culture that encourages craft-based approaches to flourish side-by-side with the demands of emerging technology. There are plans to develop a post-graduate programme in Graphic Design and Illustration.
