Faculty Technical Manager

Salary Range: £45,021 to £50,949 per annum inclusive
35 Hours per week

The Faculty of Life Sciences and Computing is looking to appoint an inspirational and experienced professional to take on the day-to-day responsibility of managing the technical teams that work in the Faculty. The post-holder will be expected to interface with the academic staff in the Faculty to ensure that all matters to do with running classes, research work and third stream activities are dealt with appropriately.
We are particularly interested in an individual who will provide strong leadership and can create a culture of performance management and engage the technical staff to broaden their workload that diversifies the Faculty’s activities. You will be a team player with excellent interpersonal skills that ensures that all of the technical work that is undertaken in the Science Centre and elsewhere in the Faculty is managed effectively and supports to a positive experience for both the Faculty’s staff and students.
