Careers Adviser

The opportunity has arisen for an innovative individual to join our Employability and Careers Centre (E&CC) at an exciting time of strategic employability developments within the University. You will provide expert one-to-one advice and careers education sessions to students from your nominated Departments, assist as a consultant to your departments and Faculty in devising and implementing employability plans and be responsible for leading collaborative projects with other stakeholders to enhance the wider work of the E&CC.

You should have an honours degree or equivalent level qualification and a relevant professional qualification, experience of one to one advice and guidance work together with a good knowledge of graduate employability issues. Excellent time management skills and a flexible, collaborative approach to team work are essential.  This post is full-time and fixed-term until 31 January 2014 to cover absence due to maternity leave.

Salary: £30,424-£36,298 per annum
