Do boys need male role models? Gender identities and practices in work with young men

This project, funded by the Economic and Social Research Council and undertaken in partnership with Action for Children, will explore the part played by gender identities and practices in work with boys and young men. The research will be carried out at Action for Children projects throughout the UK, and project staff and young people themselves will be involved in organising and facilitating the research.

You will have experience of social research including interviewing and qualitative data analysis; knowledge and understanding of research on gender issues, and experience of working with young people.

Closing date: 5 pm on 16 May 2013. Interviews will take place in June 2013.
