Lecturer in Interior & Spatial Design

We are seeking a creative and versatile individual with fresh ideas informed by relevant design industry experience. You will be able to demonstrate a high level of skill and expertise in exhibition, museum and/or retail design, and the design of associated fixtures and fittings. You will also be proficient in the use of CAD software.

 

You will develop, lead and teach modules on the BDes (Hons) Interior & Spatial Design, and MA/MDes Design [Interior Architecture], and supervise UG and PG major projects. Experience of teaching in higher education is essential.

 

You will undertake research and/or knowledge exchange (R&KE) activities for the Centre for Design Practice & Research (part of the Institute for Creative Industries). You will have strong industry links and experience of externally funded R&KE in higher education is desirable.

 

You will be well organised and have proven experience in successfully working as part of a team as well as independently.

Salary:

£34,223 to £44,607
