Building on a tradition of excellence in teaching and research in Urban Studies, the successful candidate will have an established international reputation for research leadership that enhances or complements the School’s existing strengths.

You will develop and lead a research programme in economic and/or financial aspects of urban studies in order to contribute to the School’s academic and financial objectives as well as contribute to the University and College priority areas of Globalisation, Competitiveness and Sustainability and/or People, Places, Engagement and Change and/or to one or more of the following areas of expertise within Urban Studies:

Housing finance, markets and housing systems

Real estate markets and development processes

Governance and quality of place

Urban and regional economics, including employment change
