Director, Sir Arthur Lewis Institute of Social and Economic Studies

Applications are invited for the post of Director of the Sir Arthur Lewis Institute of Social and Economic Studies (SALISES) on the Cave Hill Campus of the University of the West Indies. The successful applicant should have a distinguished record of scholarly activity in the Social Sciences, with special reference to Caribbean development or a related area, have a proven capability in attracting grant funding in furtherance research activity and have experience at administering an academic/research Department, Centre or Institute. The Director will be expected to collaborate with his/her fellow Directors and the University.

The appointment will normally be for five years in the first instance.
