£35,000 - £40,000 per annum, full time including anti-social hours (37.5 hrs)

Kaplan Holborn College and Kaplan Financial are two institutions within Kaplan’s UK operations that together offer a range of undergraduate, postgraduate and professional qualifications at multiple locations around the UK.
The role:
The post-holder will develop and implement a Partnerships and Recruitment strategy for Kaplan Holborn College (all students) and Kaplan Financial (full time students) with the objective of delivering increased and consistent student numbers to the professional, undergraduate and postgraduate programmes offered.
In addition the Partnerships and Recruitment Manager will assume responsibility for all recruitment activity within one of three defined regions (UK/EU/International) balancing efforts in this region with the wider management and policy workload contained within the role. The role holder will receive support from the Partnerships and Recruitment Officers, whilst line managing two Senior Partnerships and Recruitment Officers based in the UK and Overseas.
The nature of the role means that the post-holder will be expected to undertake regular travel.

- Accountability and management of the Partnerships and Recruitment team’s daily operations, strategy and budget.
- Develop, document and implement region specific Partnerships and Recruitment policy to increase student numbers across all programmes. This will include creating a relationship framework and partner evaluation model.
- Forge relationships with potential partners such as; Schools/Colleges/Government agencies/Universities/Embassies etc.
- Evaluate and respond to approaches from prospective partners, assisting in producing contracts and agreements where successful partnerships are formed and perform the role of relationship/account manager for on-going relationships to ensure their successful continuation.
- To ensure all Partnerships and Recruitment targets, service level agreements and key performance indicators are documented, monitored and successfully met, taking appropriate action to rectify poor performance.

- Extensive experience in relevant roles within Higher Education or Professional Qualifications provision.
- Demonstrable track record of developing Partnerships and Recruitment strategy for Higher Education Institutions in the UK.
- Thorough understanding of UK and International recruitment models and best practise with a demonstrable track record of implementing these.
- Extensive knowledge of UK and International qualification frameworks.
- Established track record of developing high achieving teams and developing key performance measurements.
- Experience of leading change at department/team level.
- A skilled negotiator, able to engage and influence key decision makers
- Ability to exercise judgement in line with organisational strategy and priorities.
- Excellent project management skills.
- Able to travel at short notice.
