The role:
The Partnerships and Recruitment Officer role plays a key part in supporting the day to day activity of the Partnerships and Recruitment team. The role requires considerable travel to attend a wide range of recruitment events. The post holder will be required to regularly deliver presentations and workshops, and as such must be comfortable presenting to large audiences and in working face-to-face with the general public. Frequent and varied travel are a key aspects of this post as is the need to work flexibly, weekend and evening work will be required.

- Support the Partnerships and Recruitment Manager to develop, document and implement region specific Partnerships and Recruitment strategy to increase student numbers across all programmes.
- To deliver the majority of on the ground face-to-face activity (to include UCAS events, School visits, presentations, workshops, summer schools).
- Support the account management of all contracted partners as directed.
- Research and evaluate potential partnerships opportunities as directed.
- To maintain and update Partnership and Recruitment related content both in print and on-line as requested.
- To establish strong relationships with relevant internal and external contacts relating to the Partnership and Recruitment activity.
- Monitor competitor activity within the regions of responsibility as directed.

- Experience in relevant roles within Higher Education or Professional Qualification provision.
- Demonstrable ability to create and deliver presentations.
- Knowledge of the key factors affecting student recruitment in the current climate.
- Proven track record of working within partnerships environment.
- Strong project/event management skills.
- Possess a strong customer focus and a commitment to deliver high standards.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Ability to work to tight deadlines in a fast paced and ever changing work environment.
- Able to travel at short notice.
- Ability to work in appropriate ways across a diverse range of cultural environments.
- Experience of working with schools, colleges, universities, Embassies, High Commissions, British Council offices, funding bodies, government agencies or educational agents.
