You will join the Behavioural and Social Sciences Management Team within the School of Health and Human Sciences. You will provide leadership and management of colleagues and all academic activity within the Division of Social Work working closely with the Head of Department and members of the Professoriate. You will also make a strong personal contribution to the academic profile of the School as a member of the new Institute for Research in Citizenship and Applied Human Sciences.

Your ability to act as an academic leader in the context of the University’s strategic goals and the changing social work external environment is key to success in this role, influencing and facilitating colleagues to achieve desired results and, particularly, developing research capacity in the Division. You will have exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with demonstrable success in building close relationships and partnerships with key internal and external parties. A successful record of leadership, management and research that influences practice is essential.
