Social Statistics and Health Services Research
£36,298 - £45,941 pa pro rata
0.6fte (22.2 hours per week)
Tenure: 36 months in the first instance
This is an opportunity to become a member of the team of researchers in CRIPACC working across programmes of research concerned with adolescent and child health, health of older people, patient experience and systematic reviews.
CRIPACC is a successful research centre providing high quality health services research to the NHS, DH, local authorities and social care organisations funded by a wide range of significant grants from NIHR, MRC and ESRC for example.
Your role will be to undertake work such as research planning, statistical analysis, report writing and contributing to short course training for post-graduate students.
You will have an ability to use a range of statistical techniques in social and health services research and undertake some teaching/supervision in statistics. You will have skills in statistical analysis and reporting, familiarity with statistical software (including SPSS), good teaching/training skills and be able to work independently. Experience in the application of statistics in a variety of fields would be desirable.
