Senior International Officer (China)

Fixed Term Maternity Cover for 12 months

£45,156 per annum (Incl. L.W.A)

Cavendish Site, Central London

This position requires a highly-motivated and experienced professional to cover a period of maternity leave and work in this senior position.

Based in the West End of London within the Recruitment Admissions and Marketing Services Department, you will be expected to make a major contribution to the University’s international success. You will be required to meet the challenges of a complex operating environment and able to demonstrate a strong track-record in achieving results. You will be an international education marketing specialist with demonstrable relevant experience in the Higher Education sector. You’ll have an excellent knowledge of the international recruitment environment, and an in-depth experience of market planning, implementation and reporting for specific markets (notably China). 

You will lead on recruitment activities for your key markets, utilising your skills and experience to manage a network of stakeholders. You are an experienced business traveller who is comfortable spending considerable time overseas, while at the same time you understand the importance of building highly effective networks inside the University. You will also be skilled in navigating and understanding key cultural and business etiquette in your markets.

An innovative approach to promoting the University overseas is desirable together with high level Chinese language skills as you will be actively engaging with Westminster’s key country market in China.
