Salary £32,267 to £44,607 per annum (dependent upon role, skills and experience)
We are seeking dynamic, enthusiastic research-led individuals who can contribute to undergraduate and postgraduate teaching. Initial teaching will be in the related areas of logistics/supply chain management, operations management, modes of transport and transport operations. The ability to teach in one of the following areas would be advantageous: passenger service provision, facilities management, marketing, multi-modal transport, intelligent transport systems, and purchasing.
You will have the opportunity to develop research programmes complementary to the School’s current research areas, which include, sustainability in supply chains, resource efficient supply chains, RFID adoption by industry and for effective warehousing, public procurement, and optimizing delivery routes.
A PhD in a related subject is essential, along with experience of publishing research outcomes. The ability to secure external research funding is also required. Relevant industrial experience would be advantageous.
