Contract: Full time, fixed term for 2 years

The Social Work reputation at Glasgow Caledonian has been confirmed over the last two years with it being placed consecutively in the top 4 in the United Kingdom in the Social Work League Tables in the Sunday Times. The successful candidate therefore would be joining an established team of social work academics, committed to high quality teaching, student support and applied research.
We wish to appoint a Lecturer who has practice experience and who preferably is working towards a Higher Degree. Experience in educating students is desirable and we would especially welcome applications from candidates who have an active role in research. This post may also be suitable for someone who is in a position to be seconded from their current employment.
It is expected that the successful candidate will be highly committed to empowering students in their learning, will actively contribute to programme development and delivery, international developments, research and scholarly activity and service user/carer developments.
