IT Technician
University of Essex -Essex Business School
We are seeking an experienced IT professional to ensure the efficient and smooth running of IT services to staff and students in Essex Business School. In this varied and busy role you will be the first line of support for the School in liaison with relevant sections of the University’s Information Systems Service.
Candidates should have a degree or equivalent professional experience in information technology or computer science. You should also have experience in software support and trouble shooting and in the use of database packages. The ability to train other staff and students in use of equipment and database packages is essential. This post is permanent and part-time for 20 hours per week.
Salary: £20,172-£23,352 per annum, pro-rata
