The role of EFL Tutor supports and contributes to the delivery of English language teaching within the Centre. Additionally the role supports and contributes to the academic and pastoral support of students as well as quality assurance.
EFL Tutors will play a central role in the enhancement of the student experience by contributing to the development of a more ‘holistic’ framework which is customer focused and integrates international students in to the daily life of the university.
In addition, EFL Tutors will be expected to routinely assess student progress helping to articulate progression routes for their students.
In a new and more commercially driven environment, it is highly desirable for EFL Tutors to adopt a flexible approach and collaborate with fellow tutors, Centre staff and professional services in order to respond effectively to a fast-moving and increasingly sophisticated marketplace.
We are looking to appoint EFL Tutors for our Summer School Programme for a fixed term period of between 5 & 8 weeks during the months of July and August, on a casual basis.
