The School of Computer Science at the University of Lincoln has had great success in recent years in developing a range of technology-focused programmes targeted at the military and allied professions. These range from a suite of short courses through to postgraduate programmes including the prestigious MSc Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance Management delivered in partnership with 54(R) Squadron at the Air Battlespace Training Centre at RAF Waddington.

You will take responsibility for the academic management of these programmes and will be expected to contribute to the delivery of modules on these and other awards across the School of Computer Science. As programme leader for these military programmes, you will work closely with the team involved in this activity. In addition you will be expected to take a lead in the strategic development of this area by cultivating national and international partnerships with a view to introducing new areas of activity. The post is deliberately advertised as a lecturing position to emphasise the academic aspects of the role.

The School has founded the Military Education Research Group as the locus for this activity and you would be expected to research, make presentations, debate and publish in this area.
