In 2011, Central Saint Martins College of Arts and Design moved to its new purpose built campus at King’s Cross.

The College has chosen to use its relocation as the catalyst for reviewing its purpose and reconsidering the most appropriate organisational structures to fulfill its goals. As a result, nine new programmes were established to bring teaching, research and their management into closer alignment as communities of learning, innovation and enterprise.

The Role

As Course Leader you will be responsible for assuring the academic standards of the course. You will ensure the delivery of the course through your academic leadership and the effective management of resources, providing a stimulating and nurturing environment for students and colleagues alike. 

Through professional networks you will ensure the continuous development of the course by reflecting critically on the broader context of practice and educational provision internationally.

Your profile

A highly skilled and enthusiastic individual that wants to join us and have the opportunity to work, share and exchange knowledge within a dynamic and creative Art and Design practise environment.

With a BA (or equivalent qualification) in industrial or product design related subject, you will have the necessary background to help our students. You will be regarded as a leading authority within your field. Creative and highly motivated, you will have detailed knowledge and deep understanding of design processes and practices in relation to mass produced and capital goods. We will also be looking for the ability to work as part of a team, sharing your knowledge with staff and students alike.
