Lecturer in Animal Livestock

Salary Range: £29,350 - £34,035 per annum( pro rata)

This role will involve supporting the delivery of our BSc (Hons) and Higher National courses in Agriculture and Applied Sciences an exciting opportunity has arisen for a lecturer to be based at our Ayr Campus. We require a livestock specialist with particular expertise in livestock management and production, breeding and welfare who also has strong communication skills and the ability to inspire students.
This is a permanent, full-time post.
The successful applicant should have a Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent qualification in Agriculture, Animal Science or a related subject, and preferably have a postgraduate degree. Experience of teaching, particularly in a higher education setting and/or a teaching qualification would be desirable.
