The Children’s Research Centre (CRC), located within the Centre for Education and Educational Technology, seeks to recruit a Research Associate to join us in our mission to empower children and young people as researchers. You will develop and lead, as an independent researcher, a distinctive line of research work within the Centre. The CRC operates within a children’s rights framework and we are seeking someone with a strong commitment to children’s voice and agency. You will have experience of leading projects involving children and/or young people and have an excellent knowledge of research design - both qualitative and quantitative. An interest in digital and mobile technologies would be useful in this role. You will be initiating and developing applications for funding and designing and undertaking CRC evaluations.
You should have completed a doctorate in a relevant social science or education discipline, have appropriate experience as an independent researcher and proven ability to write for publication in peer-reviewed journals and for academic audiences.
