Salary will be on the IOE’s Grade 8 salary scale in the range of £37,382 to £44,607. In addition, you will receive £2,323 London Allowance per annum.

The appointment is offered on a full-time indefinite contract available from 1 September 2013.

We are seeking to appoint a Lecturer/Tutor in Science Education with specialism in Physics to join the Department of Curriculum, Pedagogy and Assessment. 

You will play a central role in teaching on a range of programmes. You will have a detailed knowledge of the field of physics education and experience of teaching within schools and ideally within ITE and an awareness of current developments in the field such as Teach First and School Direct.

In view of the nature of the work involved, any offer of appointment will be conditional on a satisfactory Criminal Records Bureau Disclosure (now Disclosure and Barring Service).
