Senior Lecturer/Lecturer in Early Childhood Education

The School of Education is a leading provider of primary, secondary and early childhood teacher education courses at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. Courses are offered via on-campus and flexible online modes. A broad depth of expertise in multiple disciplines and a strong enquiry culture exists in the School across all key fields of education and research. The Early Childhood Education program is dynamic and innovative, builds on the latest research and has a strong team of highly qualified staff across a range of special interests. 

The School is seeking to appoint two staff members, one at either Senior Lecturer level or Lecturer level and the second at Lecturer level. Applicants all both levels or appointment must have professional experience relevant to the field of early childhood education and care; demonstrated collaboration with members of the education profession; knowledge of key research, theories, policies and practices in early childhood education and care, including current trends, challenges and reforms; and a record of scholarly publications in refereed journals.

At Senior Lecturer level, applicants must have a doctoral qualification in the field of Early Childhood Education, and demonstrated successful supervision of research higher degree students.

At Lecturer Level, applicants must have a doctoral qualification (or evidence of near completion of a doctorate) in the field of Early Childhood Education.

Salary: $80,513 to $95,421 per annum (Lecturer), $98,401 to $113,312 per annum (Senior Lecturer), plus 17% employer superannuation and optional salary packaging
