The Post
Applications are invited for the above post from clinical psychologists with a specific interest and expertise in cognitive-behaviour therapy for common mental health disorders in adults. As co-director for the MSc in Psychological Therapy in Primary Care, jointly run by the Universities of Dundee and Stirling, you will lead the Stirling components of the course, contributing to the programme’s management, teaching/ clinical training, and research supervision for trainees, all psychology graduates. Teaching alternates monthly between Dundee and Stirling and the course team will have a strong commitment to flexible working, supporting students and maintaining an active liaison with NHS-based clinical tutors and supervisors. You will have a doctorate in clinical psychology and current experience of working as an HCPC registered clinical psychologist in adult primary care. It is anticipated that you will be seconded to the University from an NHS post, have a track record in research and teaching, and have or will obtain BABCP CBT therapist accreditation.
