We are looking for an enthusiastic and innovative individual to join the Personal and Professional Development Academic Group as a lecturer. This will primarily involve teaching on the full range of undergraduate and postgraduate awards and supporting students undertaking negotiated learning programmes. This will mainly be to multi-professional student groups from health care backgrounds.An ability to contribute to the leadership and policy elements of the programmes as well as contributing to research methods teaching would be beneficial to the team. You will also be expected to contribute to the further development of modules and awards in this area as well as developing short courses in response to employer needs.
You should have a first degree in a Health related subject, a higher degree or be working towards one and have experience of leadership to enable a contribution to the delivery of teaching in this area. Experience of teaching in either an FE or HE environment is highly desirable for this role as would be a professional registration.You will also be expected to work flexibly and to contribute to the work of the wider academic group, school and faculty.
