Overview
We wish to appoint an experienced Lecturer/Senior Lecturer to take a significant role in teaching, to participate in course development within the national HE context of degree level English Language Studies, and to contribute to the research profile of the English subject area. The successful candidate will have a PhD in Sociolinguistics or a very closely related academic discipline; additionally, s/he will offer experience of teaching on a degree course in English Language, the ability to teach compulsory modules across the broad range of English Language Studies at all levels, and to supervise undergraduate research topics across the range of the degree.
